LC Summer: Captain and Kimmie's House

While in LC we spend a lot of time with my parents, brothers and SIL, and nieces and nephews.  There is usually always someone to be with and when we're all together it makes for some special, fun, loud times.  As always, the kids play their little hears out with one another and know just how to make each other laugh!  Us adults seem to have our hands full chasing after each group of kids that mingle together.  One of our favorite things to do this summer at Captain and Kimmie's house was to play outside.  A majority of our evenings were filled with dinner on the back porch thanks to my dads delicious cooking and playing in the yard or drive way.  My mom always wants to make sure the kids are having a blast and making memories together so when she suggested to make a slip n slide we are eager to see it happen.  We went and found some plastic liner in the garage and they have THE.PERFECT.SLOPE in their yard... the kids HAD A BLAST!!!  We also spent hours playing with the sprinklers, splashing in the baby pool, bubbles, riding scooters and bikes and golf carts, etc.  It was a great time with my parents and family.

Muscle Men!!

Don't ever underestimate the understanding of rain.  It poured outside one day and Miles was extremely intrigued.  He got Brooks to take him outside and check it out.  Miles was mesmerized.

We even made multiple visits to the doctors office: vaccinations, stomach bug, ear infections, massively large, insane size bug bites, and pink eye.  Yep, all that stuff hit us in just a 6 week time period.  UGH.
While my dad was away on a trip, Kimmie went and picked up donuts for breakfast and brownies for dessert!  YUMMY!!
